Excellent! Don't miss this restaurant - they're on the corner of Main Street & Denver Ave. Great margaritas accompany some fabulous green chili. My husband is usually disappointed in the level of spiciness at most restaurants when he orders hot, but this place did not disappoint, hot means hot and it's so good.
7/10/19 went through Alamosa again on our way home from Lake Navajo and had to stop for lunch. Still love this restaurant. Husband got fajitas this time with a fire hot roasted jalapeño. Very generous helping of steak, most places have more veggies than meat. Got two orders of cheese enchiladas, one with red and one with green. Both were great, you can't go wrong with either choice. Green chili was so good I had to get a quart to go. -

For being in business 21 years, this place was very disorganized. A huge group may contribute to that. Memorial Day weekend may contribute to that. But after 21 years those kinks should have been worked out. The line snaked around the salads. Then you had to bypass the desserts and get into another line for the Mexican food. Some people skipped salads do the lime was extra long. But I have to admit the food was delicious . taquitos, enchiladas, tacos,3 soups, tamales, carne Asada, beef and chicken fajitas, beans, rice and my favorite sopapillas.

Should we pay $4.00 for a tiny little pico de gallo?
I eat in Mexican restaurants all over the country, and I have never been charged for pico de gallo. But this place charges for everything extra. The fajitas are served with only 3 tortillas, and if you want more, they charge extra. Also, this is the first restaurant I have eaten at that serves fajitas without rice and beans. Because of all that, my wife and I paid $40 although we shared a plate and drank water! -

Good, solid Mexican Restaurant! Popular with the licals. We were hungry, traveling through, and were drawnto the spot with the most cars in their parking lot! Well prepared, reasonably fresh, massive proportions. Service friendly, atmosphere convivial.
